Emily Stenhouse-White

​Emily Stenhouse-White was admitted to the bar in 2004 after completing her law degree and a Bachelor of Health Science at the University of Auckland.

Emily has been in practice as a barrister since 2010, after employment as a solicitor in firms in West and Central Auckland.

Emily specialises in Family Law, in particular in care of children and domestic violence matters. She acts for parties seeking representation in the Family and High Courts and accepts appointments from the Court as lawyer for child, lawyer for  subject person and counsel to assist. She is also a Family Dispute Resolution accredited mediator. Emily regularly facilitates mediation meetings between parents and caregivers, so that they are able to resolve disputes about children without the need for judicial intervention.
