Clare Murphy

Clare Murphy works a barrister in all areas of family law, including relationship property (and its interface with trusts), Estate claims, care of children and family violence.

 

Clare started her career as a barrister and solicitor in 2010. She practised in Tauranga before returning to Auckland in 2019. Clare worked in the family law team of an Auckland CBD firm before becoming a barrister sole. Since 2017, the Family Court have approved Clare to act for children in Family Court disputes. She also undertakes roles as counsel to assist the Court. Her previous experience includes civil litigation and criminal law.

 

Clare’s tertiary qualifications include a BA / LLB (2009) and a Master of Laws with First Class Honours (2022).
