
Jade Cookson
Jade has worked as a family lawyer since being admitted in 2016 and after completing her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science (specialising in Biomedical Science) degrees at Auckland University.

She progressed to a Principal Family lawyer at a reputable law firm on Auckland’s North Shore in 2023 and she has now commenced practicing as a Barrister Sole from January 2026.

Jade is also a member of the Family Law Section, a representative of the North Shore Family Court, a mentor for Auckland University’s Women in Law Mentoring Programme and volunteers to help judge students for their Family Law Moot.
